Generosity as a lifestyle is a much better way to live, also, Christians have a much better motivation for living generous lives. Namely, the greatest gift anyone can ever receive here on earth, the gift of salvation. We are generous because God is a generous God and we are made in His image.
Sometimes something can be so common that we sometimes struggle understanding just what it means. That is why in this teaching we look at the concepts of God’s mercy and grace and endeavour to answer the following two questions: (1) What does God’s mercy and grace actually mean? (2) How should God’s mercy and grace change how we live our lives?
As 2020 draws to a close, worry and anxiety have gotten the better of even the best among us. And yet, the scriptures command us not to worry nor be anxious over anything and that we should pray about everything. In this teaching we look at how to do just that, live lives free of worry and anxiety.

We all find ourselves doing life in the wilderness from time to time. Times of waiting, preparation, testing and even temptations. While it is true that God sometimes leads us into wildernesses, He does it for our own good and wants us to succeed through them. In this teaching we learn some important lessons regarding doing life in the wilderness from Jesus’ own wilderness experience. We learn the crucial distinction between tests and temptations as well as ways to avoid giving into temptations.

The account of Paul’s personal circumstances as he writes the letter to the Philippians from prison paints other vivid pictures of perseverance, endurance and determination. He was was writing the letter from Prison and everyone from the prisoners right up to the guards at the palace knew that he was in Prison because of his preaching about Christ. He was determined and nothing could deter or put him off his goal.
Having taken all the necessary steps to ensure a safe return to in-person gatherings, Peoples Church leadership has reached a decision to reopen in-person gatherings starting from Sunday, 1 November 2020.
